Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta 2026

The Cheshire East Filipino Community proudly hosted its third and biggest Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta at Queens Park, Crewe. The event welcomed thousands of visitors for a spectacular celebration of Filipino culture, bringing together live entertainment, cultural performances, celebrity guests, community organisations, local businesses, a vibrant Filipino food village, family attractions, parade queens, and the exciting return of the traditional Filipino Perya. More than just a festival, Barrio Fiesta 2026 showcased the warmth, hospitality and rich heritage of the Filipino community while strengthening friendships and celebrating diversity across Cheshire East.

Crewe Day Parade

The Cheshire East Filipino Community proudly took part in the Crewe Day Parade, a community celebration bringing together local groups, organisations and residents to celebrate the people, culture and diversity that make Crewe special. CEFC proudly represented the Filipino community in the colourful parade, showcasing our culture, heritage and community spirit while celebrating our place within the wider Crewe community.

A Celebration of Diversity in Crewe

The Cheshire East Filipino Community proudly took part in A Celebration of Diversity in Crewe, joining communities from across the town for a special event celebrating food, friendship and solidarity. Hosted by the Mayor of Crewe in association with Churches Together in Crewe, the event brought together people from different faiths, communities and cultures to share meaningful dishes, connect with one another and celebrate the diversity that makes Crewe special. CEFC was proud to represent the Filipino community, share our culture and be part of an evening that promoted friendship, understanding and community togetherness.

Meeting at the Park & Kuya Gary's Birthday Celebration

On 9 May 2026, friends, families, volunteers and newcomers returned to Queens Park, Crewe, for another welcoming community meet-up and Kuya Gary's birthday celebration. Everyone brought food to share and enjoyed live music, laughter and Filipino-style hospitality. The gathering also gave volunteers and community members an opportunity to discuss preparations for the upcoming Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta 2026.

Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta 2025

The Cheshire East Filipino Community proudly organised the Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta 2025 at Queens Park, Crewe, building on the success of the previous year and welcoming families, friends and visitors for another colourful celebration of Filipino culture. The festival brought together live performers, cultural groups, community organisations, local businesses and food vendors for a full day of music, dancing, entertainment and Filipino flavours. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the event celebrated the traditions, talent and diversity of the Filipino community while bringing people from different backgrounds together in the heart of Crewe.

The Cheshire East Filipino Community was delighted to support and be part of bringing Nurse Even and The Bank Shift Show to Nantwich. Nurse Even is a popular Filipino comedian and entertainer known for turning the funny, challenging and highly relatable experiences of nurses, carers and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) into comedy.

On 3 May 2025, friends, families, newcomers and members of the Filipino community gathered at Queens Park, Crewe, for a relaxed meet-up filled with shared food, friendship and conversation. Everyone was welcome to join the picnic, meet new people and enjoy a day together in the park. The gathering also celebrated Gary's birthday, making it a warm and memorable community occasion.

The Cheshire East Filipino Community proudly organised its very first Cheshire East Barrio Fiesta in 2024 at Queens Park, Crewe, marking an important milestone for our growing community. Filipino families, friends and the wider local community came together for a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture and heritage, featuring live music and entertainment, cultural performances, traditional Filipino food, community groups, local businesses and activities for all ages. The success of our first Barrio Fiesta created a wonderful new tradition for Cheshire East, giving the Filipino community an opportunity to proudly share its culture while building friendships and stronger connections with the wider community.

The Cheshire East Filipino Community proudly organised Drag It! with Sephy Francisco, bringing the talented Filipino singer and international entertainer to Crewe for a spectacular live show. Known for an extraordinary vocal range and captivating stage presence, Sephy delivered a memorable evening of music, glamour and entertainment that celebrated Filipino talent, creativity and community spirit.
